Formulation Development Technology Transfer

Job Description

Should have relevant experience of technology transfer of as many as dosage forms such Nasal Sprays, Tablets, Capsules, Topicals, Dry Powder Inhaler (DPI), Injections etc.
Technology absorption & validation products/ processes into commercial production.
Primary responsibility for coordination of the scale- up batches of new products & processes to enable commercialization of new projects.
Responsible for identifying potential product / process improvement of existing commercial product. Will present proposals to optimize formula & product flow will implement changes after management approval.
Interfaces with project management, Quality Assurance & regulatory affairs on process requirements for new & current products & assists with on-site transfer projects & product scale up activities.
Proper training of manufacturing personnel in any new process and / or technology. Key functional role includes troubleshooting of problem products, providing technical expertise and support to production investigation.
Assuring protocols are approved through proper channels and workflows are executed in accordance with SOPs, industry best practices regulatory guidance across the industry.
Assuring test data are gathered and recorded in accordance with cGMP requirements. Analyzing data to ascertain compliance of result to acceptance criteria.
Review and approve process validation protocols. Keeping and maintaining the documents related to plant in presentable form (For external & internal audits)
Responsible for review of product risk assessment and HAZOP study and assisting in investigation of deviation and OOS of product during technology transfer.
Actively lead in successful stability and validation batch manufacturing.
Necessary support of the Regulatory submissions and modernization of manufacturing processes.
Directs and supports activities related to introduction of New Products as it relates to Plant issues, capacities, and capabilities.
Thorough knowledge of Pharmaceutical technical issues, manufacturing processes, and operations environment including a detailed knowledge of Validation, Regulatory Affairs, R&D, New Product Transfer.
Good interpersonal, communication, managerial, analytical and leadership skills.
