Asst. Manager/ Deputy Manger (Technology Transfer)

Roles and Responsibilities

• Technology absorption & transfer of process from Lab scale to pilot and commercial scale

• Scale up of API products from laboratory to kilo lab, Kilo lab to Pilot plant and pilot plant to commercial plant (Ensuring smooth scale up from lab to plant).

• Serves as a subject matter expert with regards to operation excellence in production process and procedures

• Continuous improvement with innovative use of technology

• Technology Transfer as well as scalability of new products with a target to reduce or avoid development campaigns and move directly to exhibit campaigns.

• Provide leadership and integration to process chemistry and process engineering teams to provide seamless output.

• Co-ordinate with R&D for receiving a robust process and co-ordinate with site QA to provide a validated process to production which includes safety studies also.

• Co-ordinate with PPC for equipment feasibility studies to ensure optimal capacity utilization.

• Ensure upkeep of PD Lab and Kilo Lab

• Should have a proven track record of optimization, trouble shooting and technology transfer with scalability. Check for specific cases and products

• Check for understanding of safety studies and candidate understanding of a robust process.

• Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, including plant managers, engineers, and operators.
  
• Conduct training sessions on new technologies and processes to ensure knowledge sharing among team members.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 9-12 years of experience in Technology Transfer or related field (Pharma API).
  
• B.Tech/B.E. degree in Chemical Engineering
  
• Strong understanding of chemical engineering principles, process development, processing techniques, productivity improvement initiatives.
