Clinical Assistant (RMO)

SMBT Hospital Clinic is seeking a Clinical Assistant (RMO) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated and compassionate individual with a strong background in providing medical assistance, patient care, and clinical support. The role will require a minimum of 1-year experience in a clinical or hospital setting. The successful candidate will work closely with senior doctors and medical staff to deliver high-quality care to patients at our Malegaon and Bhiwandi locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Care:
  Assist in the overall care of patients by conducting preliminary medical assessments and providing initial care under the supervision of senior doctors.
• Clinical Support:
  Aid doctors during medical examinations, procedures, and surgeries. Provide support with patient monitoring and other clinical tasks as required.
• Patient History & Documentation:
  Take accurate patient history, document medical records, and ensure all necessary information is updated in the patient files.
• Medical Tests & Diagnostics:
  Assist in the execution and interpretation of medical tests, such as blood tests, ECG, etc., under the guidance of senior clinicians.
• Treatment Administration:
  Administer prescribed medications, injections, and other treatment regimens to patients while ensuring patient safety.
• Emergency Response:
  Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide first aid as required, ensuring patient stabilization and timely transfer to senior medical staff for further treatment.
• Communication:
  Maintain effective communication with patients, their families, and the healthcare team to ensure smooth patient care and follow-up.
• Administrative Support:
  Assist with clinic management duties, including inventory management, medical supplies, and appointment scheduling.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Medical Science (BMS) or Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS).
• Experience:
• A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Clinical Assistant, RMO, or in a related role in a hospital or clinic environment.
• Skills:
• Strong understanding of medical terminology, patient care, and clinical processes.
• Ability to assist in diagnostics and treatment administration.
• Proficient in taking patient history and maintaining accurate medical records.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, their families, and the healthcare team.
• Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments, especially during emergencies.

Additional Requirements:

• Location Flexibility:
  Willing to work in Malegaon and Bhiwandi locations as per the hospitals requirements.
• Certifications (Preferred but Not Mandatory):
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification.
• Knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) systems.
