Powertrain Flow Dynamics - CFD

Role & responsibilities

1. Good Understanding of CFD 3D Flow, Thermal, Porous Modeling and DPM modeling.
2. Perform CAD cleanup, Surface Meshing and Volume Meshing using 3D-CAD, Star-CCM+ and ANSA (optional).
3. Perform CFD simulations using Star-CCM+ with best practices for accurate computational efficiency.
4.Provide accurate and detailed reports of CFD results.
5.Find root cause and Provide effective design solutions to optimize product functionality.
6.MATLAB scripting knowledge - Matrices and Operators, Functions, Programmer's Toolbox, Selection, Loops, Data type and File Input/Output. Other equivalent object-oriented coding knowledge will be added advantage.
7. Able to interact with cross-functional teams.
8. Good written and verbal communication skills.
9. Develop process improvements and standard work practices for operational efficiency.
10. Preferable with knowledge in converge-Studio and Urea deposit modeling.

Preferred candidate profile

Star CCM+ and 3D-CAD, MATLAB Optional tools: Converge-Studio / EnSight / Hypermesh / ANSA / Fluent

1. Preferable with knowledge in Exhaust Aftertreatment components.
2. Preferable with Controls system knowledge.
