Role & responsibilities
1. Facility and Systems Management
1.1. Oversee maintenance of HVAC systems (AHU, Chillers, VRF etc.), HT & LT electrical systems, plumbing systems, Welding/ Drill/ Grinding M/C, Power Press, CNC shearing/ bending/ drilling/ Press M/C, EOT Cranes, EV Stackers, Roll forming M/C, Servers Drives, PLC, Sensors and other infrastructure.
2. Supervision and Leadership:
2.1. Lead and supervise the maintenance team, providing guidance and support.
2.2. Lead, train, and mentor a team of maintenance technicians and engineers.
2.3. Assign tasks, monitor performance, conduct performance evaluations, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
3. Hands-on Maintenance:
3.1. Perform routine and preventive maintenance on equipment and systems.
3.2. Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and technical issues.
3.3. Conduct repairs and ensure all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
4. Maintenance Planning and Coordination:
4.1. Develop and implement preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance schedules.
4.2. Ensure timely resolution of equipment breakdowns and minimize downtime.
4.3. Plan, prioritize, and manage multiple maintenance projects simultaneously.
4.4. Coordinate maintenance activities to minimize downtime and disruption.
4.5. Ensure all maintenance tasks are completed according to established standards.
5. Safety and Compliance:
5.1. Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.
5.2. Conduct regular safety inspections and address any hazards.
5.3. Promote a culture of safety within the maintenance team.
6. Documentation and Reporting:
6.1. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
6.2. Prepare and submit reports on maintenance performance and issues.
6.3. Keep updated documentation of equipment and systems.
7. Equipment and Asset Management:
7.1. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
7.2. Prepare and submit reports on maintenance performance and issues.
7.3. Keep updated documentation of equipment and systems.
8. Budgeting and Reporting
8.1. Develop and manage the maintenance budget.
8.2. Track expenses, monitor KPIs, and prepare performance reports.
8.3. Recommend cost-saving measures and process improvements.
Preferred candidate profile
Education: B. Tech or Diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
Proven experience as a maintenance technician with supervisory responsibilities.
Experience with MEP systems: Mechanical, Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing systems etc.
Skills:
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Proficiency in using maintenance management software.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and perform physical tasks as needed.
Capability to work in various environmental conditions, including heat, cold, and confined spaces.
