Job Overview: As a Software Developer at Sarvodaya Hospital, you will be integral to both the expansion of our LIMS capabilities and the support of our existing systems. This role requires a developer with proven experience in software engineering, preferably in laboratory information systems, who can innovate and maintain our software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop new features for our LIMS to meet the evolving needs of our laboratories.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for the existing LIMS infrastructure.
• Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure system functionality and efficiency.
• Implement and monitor system modifications and upgrades.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues arising in the daily use of the LIMS.
• Maintain documentation for system updates, changes, and new implementations.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and maintain security protocols.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain standards for quality and performance.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge-sharing.
• Develop and maintain APIs for 3rd party integration.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development, with specific experience in LIMS preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex data.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle and best practices.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and software development tools.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously and under tight deadlines.

Desirable Skills:

• Previous experience in a laboratory setting or with laboratory software.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements related to laboratory operations.
• Experience with cloud technologies and services.
