Azure Cloud Engineer - PowerShell/IAC Terraform (6-10 yrs)

Role Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cloud Engineer to join our team and take ownership of our Azure cloud infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of a secure, scalable, and reliable cloud environment. You will play a critical role in ensuring the optimal performance and availability of our cloud resources, while also contributing to the development and implementation of cloud best practices.

Responsibilities :

Cloud Infrastructure Management :

- Implement and maintain end-to-end cloud infrastructure on Azure, including provisioning virtual machines (VMs), managing resource groups, configuring networking components, and setting up storage solutions.

- Handle backup and recovery processes to ensure data protection and business continuity.

- Plan and execute cloud migrations, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal downtime.

Security and Identity Access Management :

- Manage Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) and Entra ID for identity and access control, ensuring secure authentication and authorization for users and applications.

- Implement and manage Azure Key Vault for secure storage of sensitive data, keys, and certificates.

Networking :

- Design and configure virtual networks, subnets, Network Security Groups (NSGs), load balancers, ExpressRoute connections, VPN gateways, VNet peering, and DNS settings.

- Ensure network security and optimize network performance.

Storage :

- Manage Azure Blob Storage, Azure Disk Storage, and Azure Storage Accounts to meet data storage and access requirements.

- Implement appropriate storage tiers and optimize costs.

- Backup and Disaster Recovery:

- Implement and manage Azure Site Recovery for disaster recovery and business continuity.

- Regularly test and validate disaster recovery plans.

- Monitoring and Service Health:

- Utilize Azure Service Health, Azure Monitor, and Azure Application Insights to monitor the health and performance of cloud resources and applications.

- Proactively identify and address potential issues.

Client Interaction :

- Interact with clients to understand their cloud infrastructure requirements and provide technical guidance and support.

- Collaborate effectively with stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements :

- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Azure cloud infrastructure.

- Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and best practices.

- Proficiency in Azure VM computing, networking, storage, migration, backup, security, and identity management.

- Experience with Azure AD, Entra ID, Azure Key Vault, Azure Monitor, and Azure Application Insights.

- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have :

- Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert).

- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, ARM templates).

- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python).

- Strong Communication: Communicate clearly and effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Client-Facing Skills: Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients
