Saptang Labs - Network Engineer - IT Infrastructure (3-5 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and maintain robust and scalable network architectures.

- Configure and manage network devices (routers, switches, firewalls) to optimize performance and security.

- Implement and enforce network security best practices to safeguard our IT infrastructure.

- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues, diagnose problems, and identify root causes.

- Monitor network performance metrics and proactively identify potential issues.

- Perform network capacity planning to ensure sufficient bandwidth for current and future needs.

- Document network configurations and procedures for clear communication and knowledge transfer.

- Collaborate with IT teams and other departments to ensure network alignment with business goals.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in networking technologies and best practices.

Qualifications :

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in network engineering or a similar role.

- In-depth knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, UDP), routing concepts, and network security principles.

- Experience with network configuration tools and command-line interfaces (CLI).

- Experience with network security solutions (firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention systems) (a plus).

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.

- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
