Ishan Technologies - Network Engineer - Routing & Switching (5-6 yrs)

- The Network Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the organization's network infrastructure.

- This includes planning and executing network upgrades, troubleshooting network issues, and ensuring network security.

Responsibilities:

- Design, implement, and maintain the organization's network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.

- Plan and execute network upgrades and expansions, including hardware and software upgrades.

- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot network issues.

- Ensure network security by implementing and maintaining firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and other security measures.

- Maintain network documentation and diagrams.

- Provide technical support to end-users.

- Stay up-to-date on the latest networking technologies and best practices.

- Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 5+ years of experience as a Network Engineer.

- Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, routing, switching).

- Experience with network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.

- Experience with network monitoring and management tools.

- Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, VirtualBox).

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
