SAP MM Consultant - E2E Implementation (5-6 yrs)

Position : SAP MM Consultant

Location : Mumbai

Role Overview :

We are seeking a proficient SAP MM Consultant with 56 years of hands-on SAP experience. The ideal candidate will have completed at least one end-to-end SAP implementation and have expertise in leading SAP MM/WM modules. A strong background in purchasing, imports, materials management, and commercial operations is essential.

Key Responsibilities :

- SAP Implementation & Support

- Lead SAP MM/WM modules in end-to-end implementations and enhancement projects.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver configurations.

- Ensure smooth integration of SAP MM with other modules, such as SD and WM.

- Business Process Optimization

- Analyze and optimize business processes in purchasing, inventory management, commercial

operations, sales, accounts, and stores.

- Develop functional specifications for custom reports, enhancements, and workflows.

- Identify gaps in processes and implement effective solutions to improve efficiency.

Technical Expertise :

- Configure and customize SAP MM/WM modules to align with business requirements.

- Manage configurations for procurement processes, inventory management, import/export operations, and material master data.

- Leverage tools like Solution Manager for documentation, tracking, and reporting.

Documentation & Training :

- Prepare detailed documentation, including system configurations, test cases, and user manuals.

- Provide training to end-users and junior team members on SAP MM functionalities and best practices.

- Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to address integration points and resolve issues effectively.

Key Requirements

Experience :

- 56 years of SAP experience, including at least 1 full lifecycle SAP implementation.

- Strong expertise in purchasing, materials management, imports, and commercial operations.

- Proven ability to lead SAP MM/WM implementations and deliver solutions independently.

Technical Skills :

- Proficient in SAP MM/WM configuration and integration with other modules.

- Familiarity with Solution Manager, Microsoft Office tools, and documentation best practices.

- Knowledge of SAP SD and WM processes is an added advantage.

Certifications :

- SAP certification in MM/WM is highly desirable.

Soft Skills :

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.
