SAP API Management, part of SAP Integration Suite, enables its customers to secure, analyze, and scale APIs in a Multi-Cloud environment - AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, AliCloud, SAP Data Center & in a Hybrid Deployment [Cloud & On-Premise]. It provides the required visibility & control to consume and monetize APIs with real-time analytics. SAP is evolving its API Platform with significant investments in API-led Integration, Intelligent API Ops - Machine Learning based anomaly detection and remediation, Kubernetes based Provisioning, and in best-in-class experience to explore, discover and consume the APIs via API Marketplace.

To drive this evolution and innovation, we are looking for enthusiastic performance expert, who are passionate about customers, technology, and product experience, and can join us in our journey to provide the best-in-class API-led Integration Suite and help every customer to become a best-run business. You will be responsible for the end-to-end quality-related activities, with a special focus on performance & scalability test-related tasks within the product creation and maintenance process. Furthermore, support design of a detailed test design incl. test system landscape definition, implement and execute manual and/or automated tests according to the Customer quality and test strategy, are an integral part of your daily work. You will work in a highly motivated, collaborative, and diverse team, together with different talents as well as established professionals in multiple locations.

Expectations from You

Design and develop automated performance tests for Cloud based system software in cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).
Develop and use tools and frameworks to build and improve Continuous Integration and Continuous profiling processes.
Create, review and execute non-functional test cases for new features and regression test types.
Contribute and gain working experience in designing, developing & validating Customer like E2E enterprise/system scenarios with DevOps culture at the heart of what you do
Perform load tests (runtime & design time) to validate our product for performance, scalability, endurance, etc. ,
Oversee system performance and identify key metrics for performance improvements to define and establish the product sizing / KPIs
Demonstrate excellent quality, design, engineering, automation and delivery skills
Troubleshoot, Profile & perform RCAs to suggest corrective actions, thereby advocating for stronger Quality Assurance

Key Competencies:

Experience in Performance test & Monitoring automation tools like Load Runner, JMeter, SUPA, Rational, Kibana, Grafana etc. is necessary.
Experience in Automation frameworks like Selenium, TestNG is an advantage.
Experience with Core Java, maven, Scripting (Shell /python, Java Script) is an advantage.
Experience with Jenkins and test integration with Jenkins is necessary.
Experience with Cloud is an advantage (Amazon, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
Working knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD Delivery concepts is an advantage.
Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes is an advantage.
Strong knowledge on web protocols (HTTP/HTTPS), JSON, Java Script, , HTML5, CSS, REST/ODATA, Git, GitHub and Gerrit and PostgreSQL is an advantage

Role Requirements:

Engineering degree (BTech/ MTech) in Computer Science or a related subject with Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
7 - 12 years of relevant Industry & hands-on domain experience as Performance Engineer/Tester
Good understanding of automation testing methodologies in testing enterprise complex product stacks.
Strong expertise in performance test/monitoring tools like LoadRunner &JMeter is mandatory as an optional Rational Dynatrace, etc. ,
Proficiency in smart & effective test/system design, research oriented to read & derive from test results
Proficient knowledge & expertise with automation tool & CI/CD
Good working knowledge of relevant programming languages like Core Java &/or Open Source.
Willingness to go the extra mile to ensure the highest quality of experience for our customers
Team player with excellent communication skills
