Role: SAP ABAP Senior Consultant

Location: Delhi/ Hyderabad/ Mumbai/ Noida/ Pune

Responsibilities

• Code ABAP 7.5 and develop RICEFW using ABAP on HANA.
• Manage change requests and technical efforts estimations.
• Development using integration techniques like Rest API, ABAP Proxy, RFC.
• Interact with function and technical team to understand the requirements and propose solution & Deliver objects.
• Guide the junior team members to deliver quality and timely developments.
• Ability to debug, troubleshoot UI applications, BRF+ applications, ABAP custom code and finding performance issues at various levels and fixing them.

SAP Skills

• 4-8 years of experience in one or more SAP modules.
• 2 implementation experiences on S4H ABAP.
• Experience with ABAP 7.5 coding standards and RICEFW Development using ABAP on HANA.
• Understands SAP Activate Methodology.
• Understands integration between modules.
• Leads detailed module-specific configuration and master data development.
• Must be highly proficient with OData debugging and locating the issue.
• Understands Web / Enterprise Services including ABAP Proxy and SAP APIs.
• Experience with integration techniques like Rest API, ABAP Proxy, RFC, IDOC & XML, and integration of software solutions within company environments and external landscapes.
• Experience in developing and configuring SOAP APIs using SOAMANAGER, OData APIs in V2 and V4 using SADL and other frameworks and RFC APIs. 
• 2+ years of experience with BTP RESTful ABAP (RAP) development.
• Design and implement CDS (Core Data Services) views.
• Design and develop RAP applications for CRUD operations (Create, Read, Update, Delete) using managed and unmanaged scenarios, Actions, draft handling scenarios, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with business requirements.
• Proficient on ABAP on HANA, AMDP & CDS views.
• Expertise in enhancing standard SAP functionality leveraging standard enhancements framework user exists, Business Transaction Events (BTE), Business Add Ins (BADI), Enhancement Spots (Implicit & Explicit).
• Good knowledge in developing Data migration programs and using related tools like LSMW, BDC, BAPI's and SAP Function Module including RFC Function Module.
• Strong experience in ABAP troubleshooting and debugging skills.
• Understands functional and technical specifications in detail.
• Add-on skills like Module Pool Programming, Webdynpro and Workflow is a plus.
• Experienced in SAP ABAP programming on HANA and ABAP Cloud versions, running ATC checks, and custom code remediation for S/4HANA environment.
