- Implement statistical and AI/ML algorithms for clinical study design optimization and decision making.
- Work with machine learning frameworks and tools to develop predictive models for clinical endpoints.
- Work with real world data and apply advanced sampling methods for clinical trial simulation with realistic patient population.
- Explore causal inference methods that leverage AI/ML for treatment effect estimation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand complex data, analytics requirements and objectives.
- Stay current on advancements in AI/ML for clinical development.
- Provide technical guidance to junior staff.
- Experience: Experiences of statistical modeling and simulations and statistical tool development.
- Soft skills: Broad knowledge/experience of handling complex statistical or AI/ML models or large datasets, utilizing parallel computing and cloud computing platforms.
- Technical skills: Excellent R programming skills are required. Experience with Python, Julia or other computational languages is a plus.
- Good experience using version control systems (e.g., Git, GitHub).
- Good understanding of advanced statistical concepts and techniques. Knowledge about clinical trial design is a plus.
- Education: PhD/MS in statistics, computer science, mathematics or related discipline
- Languages: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in oral and written English.
