Role & responsibilities

• Educational Qualification:
  
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience:
  
• Minimum of 5-10 years in mechanical engineering roles within power plant construction projects.
• Technical Skills:
  
• Proficiency in mechanical systems such as piping, turbines, boilers, and HVAC systems.
• Ability to evaluate and approve mechanical designs, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
• Experience in overseeing the installation of mechanical systems, ensuring alignment with project timelines, specifications, and budgets.
• Familiarity with engineering software and tools such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Project Management:
  
• Experience in conducting regular inspections of mechanical systems to confirm compliance with design specifications and quality standards.
• Ability to assist in the development and execution of testing and commissioning plans for mechanical systems.
• Strong organizational skills for maintaining accurate records of inspections, approvals, and engineering decisions.
• Problem-Solving:
  
• Demonstrated ability to provide engineering solutions to on-site mechanical issues, troubleshooting and resolving design and operational challenges promptly.
• Safety and Compliance:
  
• Knowledge of safety standards for mechanical installations and ensuring all work complies with safety regulations and industry best practices.
• Communication:
  
• Strong communication skills to act as a liaison between the engineering team and contractors, facilitating clear communication and collaboration.
