Operational Head

The candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of both the machine shop and foundry, ensuring efficient production processes, planning quality control, achieving the customer schedules, management of manpower. This role involves strategic planning, resource management, and continuous process improvement to meet organizational targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Oversee production schedules, ensuring timely completion and delivery of raw castings / machined casting to the suppliers.
• Responsible for productivity and OTIF
• Manage and optimize the use of resources, including labour, materials, and equipment.
• Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards of production.
• Coordinate with other departments, such as procurement, maintenance, and quality assurance.
• Monitor and analyse operational data to identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Prepare and present detailed reports on operational performance to the management
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
• Address and resolve operational issues promptly and effectively.

Requirements:

• Graduate Engineer Mechanical / Metallurgy with more than 25 years of experience and out of which minimum 2 years as head of operations.
• Strong understanding of machine shop and foundry operations and data driven.
• Excellent leadership and organizational skills and a result-oriented person.
• Candidate should have excellent communication and presentation skills, ability to work with cross functional teams.
