Embedded Software Engineer - Autosar (2-4 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

Software Development :

- Design and implement embedded software using C programming language, adhering to AUTOSAR standards.

- Develop software modules for various automotive functions, such as powertrain control, body electronics, and infotainment systems.

- Create and maintain software documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user manuals.

UML Design :

- Utilize UML (Unified Modeling Language) to create software models and diagrams, including class diagrams, sequence diagrams, and state diagrams.

- Collaborate with system architects to ensure that software design aligns with overall system requirements.

ASPICE Compliance :

- Adhere to ASPICE (Automotive Software Process Improvement and Capability dEtermination) standards to ensure the quality and reliability of software development processes.

- Participate in process improvement activities to enhance software development efficiency and effectiveness.

Testing and Debugging :

- Develop and execute comprehensive test cases to verify software functionality and performance.

- Identify and debug software defects, working closely with hardware engineers and system architects to resolve issues.

Integration and Deployment :

- Integrate software components into complex electronic systems, ensuring seamless operation and compatibility with hardware.

- Deploy software to target hardware platforms, including microcontrollers and embedded systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

Technical Skills :

- Strong proficiency in C programming language and embedded systems development.

- Experience with AUTOSAR standards and architecture.

- Knowledge of UML modeling tools and techniques.

- Familiarity with software development methodologies (i.e., Agile, Waterfall).

- Understanding of automotive electronics and communication protocols (i.e., CAN, LIN, Ethernet).

Experience :

- Minimum 2+ years of experience in embedded software development, preferably in the automotive industry.

- Experience with ASPICE-compliant software development processes.
