Microbiologist

Role & responsibilities

• To conduct routine microbiological as well as chemical testing of finished product & packaging materials.
• To conduct microbiological swab, Contact surfaces & Environmental testings.
• To conduct In process facility inspections.
• To effectively and efficiently manage the day to day activities of Microbiology laboratory function by ensuring that microbiological tests are conducted consistently and accurately according to the sampling and testing regime.
• To ensure that the controlled documents and analytical data in the laboratory are correctly updated provided to the management in timely and accurate manner.
• Minimize inaccuracies in results by performing and reviewing the tests recorded on daily basis to be able to highlight the non-conformities on time.
• Minimize the possibilities of testing errors due to methods / equipment / instrument by pro-actively suggesting changes in laboratory methods/ equipments etc. to bring about higher degree of confidence level of quality control tests in the laboratory.

Preferred candidate profile

1)Verification activities of existing products and processes on daily basis.

2)Check and improve safety and quality control procedures.

3) In process audit, suppliers audit or manage internal audits records.

4) Deal with daily product deviations and investigations.

5) compile, check and approve product specifications and Packaging & labeling.

6) Reducing waste by improving efficiency thru changes in operation & on job training

7) Monitoring packing and packaging as per client requirement

8) Build relationships with Manpower and supervisors to ensure safe products by team work.

9) Test conduct of Proximity analysis.

10) To conduct personal hygiene of all manpower on daily basis.

11) Act as a food safety team member in organization.

12) Maintenance of records on daily basis

13) Ensuring that strict hygiene food safety standards are met in entire operation

14) Identifying and choosing products from suppliers to compliance client standards.

15) Monitoring the use of hygiene chemicals and its testing and examining samples.

16) Writing reports and communicate the error on daily basis.
