UI Lead Engineer - Next.js/React.js (10-15 yrs)

The UI Lead will spearhead the design and development of user interfaces for web applications (Sitecore, ATS), leveraging React.js and Next.js.

This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-performance, and visually appealing user interfaces. The UI Lead will also mentor team members and ensure alignment with project goals and UI/UX best practices.

Key Accountabilities, Responsibilities :

- Drive the development and implementation of modern UI solutions using React.js and Next.js.

- Collaborate with designers, backend developers, and product managers to transform requirements into functional user interfaces.

- Define and enforce coding standards, performance optimization, and best practices.

- Lead architecture discussions for front end projects and ensure scalability.

- Evaluate and integrate new tools and technologies to improve productivity.

- Implement and maintain SE- best practices, including server-side rendering (SSR), static site generation (SSG), and metadata management.

- Work closely with the marketing and content teams to ensure web pages rank higher in search engines.

Required Experience and Skills :

- 10+ years of experience in UI development.

- Proficiency in React.js, Next.js, Redux, or other state management libraries.

- Expertise in building responsive, cross-browser-compatible designs.

Performance Optimization :

- Experience with lazy loading, SSR, and client-side rendering.

- Proficiency in using tools like Lighthouse, Webpack, and Parcel.

- Testing: Familiarity with Jest, Cypress, or other testing frameworks.

- Version Control: Proficiency in Git workflows.

- Agile Practices: Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
