Sales Manager/ Sr. Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Generation & Prospecting:
   
• Identify and prospect potential clients for insurance products (life, health, general insurance, etc.).
• Conduct sales meetings and presentations to generate new business opportunities.
• Generate leads through personal networks, referrals, cold calling, and other channels.
2. Relationship Management:
   
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers, agency partners, and distributors.
• Provide consistent follow-ups to ensure customer retention and repeat business.
• Assist customers in identifying their insurance needs and recommend appropriate products.
3. Product Knowledge & Consultation:
   
• Develop in-depth knowledge of insurance products and services to provide accurate and relevant information to clients.
• Act as an advisor, helping clients understand the benefits, coverage, and terms of various policies.
4. Sales Target Achievement:
   
• Achieve or exceed sales targets and KPIs set by the management.
• Ensure the timely submission of insurance applications, documentation, and other requirements.
5. Customer Service & Support:
   
• Assist customers with claims, renewals, and policy servicing, as required.
• Provide exceptional customer service to address any concerns or issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
6. Reporting & Administration:
   
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market insights.
• Submit regular reports on sales activities, progress, and market trends to the Sales Manager.
7. Market Research:
   
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and market conditions.
• Collect feedback from clients and agency partners to identify opportunities for improvement.
8. Collaboration with Agency Partners:
   
• Collaborate with agency partners to identify business opportunities and drive mutual growth.
• Assist agents in developing their own client base and offering them ongoing support to achieve sales targets.

Requirements:

• Experience:
  
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience in sales, preferably in the insurance industry.
• Prior experience in field sales or agency channel management is a plus.
• Skills:
  
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build rapport with clients and agency partners.
• Self-motivated, target-driven, and results-oriented.
• Good understanding of the insurance industry and its products is a plus.
• Other Requirements:
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel frequently within the designated territory.
• Proficiency in using CRM software and basic Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.).
