Job Description

Sales Manager is responsible for managing and growing the sales operations of the firm, focusing on customer acquisition, relationship management, and meeting sales targets for investment products such as stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and other securities. They work individually and can also oversee a team of sales professionals and work to enhance the firm's market share and profitability and achieve monthly targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive new client acquisition and enhance revenue generation for the stock broking business.
  • Conduct regular training sessions to improve product knowledge, sales techniques, and regulatory compliance.
  • Monitor performance, provide feedback, and help develop career paths for team members.
  • Identify and pursue potential clients, including individual investors, high-net-worth individuals (HNIs) and achieve monthly account opening & revenue targets.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to retain their business and expand their portfolio.
  • Provide personalized investment advice and help clients with portfolio management.
  • Drive business growth by increasing the firms market share, promoting new products, and upselling existing services.
  • Act as the point of escalation for client issues, ensuring timely resolution of complaints or concerns.
  • Provide after-sales support, ensuring clients have a positive experience with the brokerage firm.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field is required.
  • Certifications like NISM (National Institute of Securities Markets) certifications for dealing in securities, or any other regulatory body certifications, are highly beneficial.
  • 2-3 years of experience in stock broking, financial sales, or wealth management
