- We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Analytical Instruments Sales Manager to lead our sales team in promoting our comprehensive range of analytical instruments. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sales, a deep understanding of analytical technologies, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy Development: Design and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth in the analytical instruments sector.
- Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team sales goals, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions to meet their analytical requirements.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and potential opportunities for business expansion.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain an in-depth understanding of our product portfolio and industry trends to effectively communicate benefits and features to clients.
- Sales Forecasting: Prepare accurate sales forecasts and reports for upper management, providing insights into sales performance and market conditions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, technical support, and product development teams to ensure alignment on sales initiatives and product offerings.
- Training and Development: Provide ongoing training and support to the sales team on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer engagement strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in sales management within the analytical instruments or related field.
- Strong technical knowledge of analytical instruments and applications, including but not limited to chromatography, spectroscopy, and mass spectrometry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
