Job OverviewWe are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Manager to lead our efforts in business development within the packaging industry, focusing on Fresh Produce and Food Packaging along with Custom Thermoforming for various industries, sustainable packaging with PET, PVC films. This role requires a proactive to ideate, plan and drive business development, both domestically and internationally as guided by the company. Job Responsibilities- Strategic Market Expansion: Ideate and execute strategic plans to significantly enhance market presence and drive sales across PVC film, PET film, and Custom Thermoforming segments.
- Diverse Client Acquisition: Cultivate new sales channels across diverse markets for Fresh Produce (fruits and vegetables) and Food Packaging. Optimise opportunities for custom thermoforming solutions within packaging converters, medical, electronic and other industries to amplify revenue streams.
- Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients by establishing and nurturing relationships with key decision-makers. Deliver unparalleled customer service to ensure utmost client satisfaction and foster enduring partnerships.
- Market Analysis and Adaptation: Conduct comprehensive analysis of market dynamics, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine sales approaches and capitalize on emerging opportunities.
- Industry Insight Integration: Stay abreast of industry developments, emerging trends, and regulatory frameworks pertaining to plastic packaging. Leverage insights to identify avenues for growth and spearhead innovation initiatives.
- Market Intelligence Utilization: Maintain sales volume, product mix, and pricing competitiveness through continuous monitoring of supply-demand dynamics, market trends, and competitive landscape
- Sales Forecasting and Goal Attainment: Provide accurate sales forecasts, set ambitious yet achievable targets, and employ effective strategies to ensure target attainment
- Performance Evaluation and Optimization: Conduct thorough analysis and evaluation of sales methodologies, costs, and outcomes to drive continuous improvement and optimize sales performance
Qualification- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field. An MBA will be preferred

Experience
- At least 10+ years working experience in sales, within the Packaging Industry. Experience in plastic industry is preferred
- Previous experience with companies having turnover of atleast a 100 Cr in International and Domestic Markets
Skills- Fluent written and spoken English. Knowing how to converse in languages such as Spanish, Portugese, Italian etc. would be an asset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Strong negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills
- Effectively multitask and prioritize responsibilities to meet deadlines Attitude- Customer Experience Obsession

- Willingness to travel frequently for client meetings, industry events, and trade shows.
