Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Salesforce QA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both manual and automated testing, particularly within the Salesforce environment. This role requires proficiency in testing tools such as Provar and Selenium, along with a solid understanding of Java, Git, and Jira. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our Salesforce applications through comprehensive testing strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans for Salesforce applications, ensuring comprehensive coverage of functional and non-functional requirements.
- Create and maintain detailed, well-structured test cases and test scripts for both manual and automated testing.
- Utilize Provar for automation testing of Salesforce applications.
- Implement Selenium-based automation tests using Java to enhance testing efficiency.
- Collaborate with development teams to identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies to align testing efforts with project timelines and deliverables.
- Maintain a central repository for test cases, documenting all testing activities for future reference.
- Conduct regression testing to ensure new features do not disrupt existing functionalities.
- Report on key quality metrics, including defect rates and test coverage, to stakeholders.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in Salesforce technologies and quality assurance practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in software quality assurance, specifically with Salesforce applications.
- Strong knowledge of manual testing methodologies and automation frameworks.
- Proficiency in Provar and Selenium for automated testing processes.
- Solid programming skills in Java for test automation purposes.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git and project management tools such as Jira.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of additional automation tools or frameworks is a plus.
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator or Platform App Builder) are advantageous.
