Business Manager - Manufacturing/Automation (15-20 yrs)

B.E. in Mechanical /Electronics /Mechatronics from manufacturing or automation industry.

Your role and responsibilities:

- In this role, you will have the opportunity to be a global or local business leader. Each day, you will be responsible for operations activities and portfolio management for a particular business/ division. You will also showcase your expertise by maintaining research and development oversight.

- This role is contributing to the Robotics & Discrete Automation in Bangalore, India.

You will be mainly accountable for:

- Establishing and maintaining a sustainable and effective value-chain, from supplier to customer and from order to delivery (products, projects, and service).

- Deploying the respective procurement and logistics strategy and ABB's quality strategy and ensuring project execution from order to service.

- Delivering targets for operations: safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and productivity.

- Taking responsibility for quality assurance, quality control, and the implementation of an integrated quality management system.

Accountable for Strategy, Performance targets, Market opportunities, Management of Operations /Project- Management, Delivery, Profitability, Quality, Project execution, Standards, Governance and Risk Management, Safety & Integrity.

60-70% travel with proficiency in English
