Support in the implementation of the Quality vision, strategy, policies and development of processes and procedures to meet operational requirements which deliver the Technical objectives.

Another key responsibility is to leading VC fitting and make the right decision/comments for sealing route and improve the sample RFT, and finish sample approval on time
Monitoring supplier sample performance and execute continuous improvement actions/trainings
Ensure all product specifications/fitting comments and TU standards are clearly communicated to suppliers and followed for production on time.
Review and monitor the technical capability of the supply base and be accountable for ensuring product incidents/technical issues/customer claims are escalated, managed and closed in a timely manner with necessary corrective actions in place and reviewed regularly.
Participate in the on-boarding process of new sites by reviewing the Supplier Technical Self assessments and also the 3rd party technical assessments of each site.
Secure evaluation of new supplier factory audit against business needs, conduction of supplier approval F060 and make right recommendation to TM/ Merchandiser and buyer concerning optimization of the supplier base
Conduct risk assessments on new product development to ensure finished products meet our requirements on quality, safety and legal compliance.
Conduct pre-production meetings/inline inspection on site/virtually with suppliers and QA teams where necessary to mitigate quality failure risks base on business need.
Support Merchandising colleagues in the delivery of the product development critical milestones, ensuring that all Technical milestones are met on time and delivery dates are achieved.
Review inspection reports where a Failure is detected, escalating to Technical manager to find a resolution on minor & major issues, take right decision on BVOS with collaborate with merchandiser and supplier chain team.
Analyze customer returns information at style level to support root cause analysis and develop improvement plans with suppliers.
Support commercial teams during buying trips and development meetings.
Engage and contribute towards cross functional projects, working to deadlines under supervision of Technical Manager.
Act as a coach by supporting junior colleagues, training new colleagues, and sharing experience and knowledge with the wider technical team across regions.
Where direct reports exist, support the Technical Manager in the performance review process giving feedback where appropriate.
Willing to take more and different category/responsibility according to business need and Technical manager request.
What I need to show
Minimum of 3 years experience in a credible Garment QA discipline gained from sourcing, retail or manufacturing
Specialist product knowledge in a variety of garment product areas, including kids wear will be better.
Specialist Pattern and size grading experience and knowledge
Preferable to have CAD /VC fitting knowledge and or experience of using this system
Demonstrate a level of commercial awareness and technical experience preferably within a non-food omni channel environment
Effective communication skills and teamwork spirit
Willing to take more responsibility/opportunity and Self-learning
Ability to work under pressure and make decisions in a fast-moving retail environment and independently
Effective communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence and engage at different levels
Experience with manufacturing practices, quality systems and testing requirements in Asia
