Job Description
- Leading revenue maximization initiatives through solvent resales.
- Develop the pricing strategy, smoothen the process of solvent recovery, operational efficiency improvements and lead time reductions.
- Identify the levers for the value maximizations strategy though various Operational Excellence measures including the use of the problem-solving tools, process modifications, analytics, and lean operations.
- Conduct the monthly planning of spent solvent stream schedule and resell value estimation & the communication of the monthly revenue targets to management and CFTs.
- Lead a team of 3-4 members to drive the overall spent solvent handling.
- Coordinate with CFTs like Production, TAT, Warehouse, SCM, safety, quality to ensure the resell value maximization while adhering to the production schedule and safety requirements.
- Put in place the daily management KPIs and the practices for the smooth execution of the solvent operations.
- Responsible for conceptualizing and tracking the key metrics on volume efficiency maximization, segregation of solvent streams, mix proportions and pricing models.
- Put in place a governance mechanism for internal escalations via the agreed escalation matrix for timely executions.
- Smoothen the daily execution of solvent resell on ground which includes conflict resolution with vendors about solvent quality, pushing the different teams for timely lifting of material from the plant.
- Identifying non-value-added activities in the manufacturing processes at our manufacturing site.
- Function as a champion and change agent for driving positive culture change and improving operational efficiencies while deploying new techniques and tactics.
- Provide support to the Site Management and functional leaders in the development and deployment of OE Program, utilizing continuous improvement methodology across all projects.
- Lead periodic OE updates with the site leadership team and conduct reward and recognition.
