Key Responsibilities :

• Planning, implementing, and managing environmental and sustainability strategies that are aligned with the company's goals.
• Establish and monitor long- and short-term environmental goals, such as reducing carbon footprint, waste, and water consumption.
• Develop strategies to achieve sustainable growth, such as using renewable energy, conserving resources, and reducing waste.
• Maintain compliance with relevant environmental regulations, including international, regional, and local standards.
• Maintain regular risk assessments for identifying environmental risks and implementing appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Manage the collection and analysis of environmental performance data, including greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, water consumption, and waste.
• Lead the preparation of annual sustainability reports and other disclosures, ensuring alignment with industry standards (GRI, SASB, CDP, etc.).
• Benchmark performance metrics against industry standards and work towards continuous improvement.
• Utilize the ISO 26400 framework to create and enforce sustainable procurement practices within the supply chain.
• Conduct supplier assessments, audits, and ongoing performance monitoring to ensure compliance with ESG standards.
• Collaborate with suppliers to mitigate sustainability risks, identify areas for improvement, and enhance supply chain resilience.
• Lead and manage sustainability projects, including energy efficiency, waste minimization, and pollution prevention initiatives.
• Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., manufacturing, supply chain, R&D) to embed sustainability across operations.
• Track project milestones, manage budgets, and report on project outcomes and environmental impact.
• Build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, regulators, and community organizations.
• Conduct awareness to employees on social accountability and environmental stewardship, fostering a culture of sustainability within the organization.
