Lead IT -Network & Infra (LAN, WAN), 12 To 15 years of exp, Pharm, Hyd

The candidate would be responsible for overseeing and managing the company's network infrastructure, ensuring the seamless operation and optimization of all internal and external network systems and involves planning, designing, implementing, and troubleshooting network systems to ensure the reliability, security, and performance of the network.

Key Responsibilities:

• Network Infrastructure Management:
• Lead the design, implementation, and management of the organization's network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of the network.
• Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and make recommendations for improvements.
• Security and Compliance:
• Develop and enforce network security policies and procedures.
• Ensure network systems are compliant with internal standards, external regulations, and industry best practices.
• Work with the cybersecurity team to mitigate risks.
• Network Monitoring & Troubleshooting:
• Oversee the network monitoring system to detect, diagnose, and resolve network issues proactively.
• Lead efforts to troubleshoot and resolve network outages, performance issues, or connectivity problems.
• Vendor and Stakeholder Management:
• Manage relationships with external vendors, ensuring the timely procurement of network hardware, software, and services.
• Manage service level agreements (SLAs) with network service providers.
• Team Leadership and Development:
• Lead, mentor, and provide guidance to the network team.
• Conduct training to ensure team members are up to date with current technologies and best practices.
• Manage day-to-day operations of the network team, allocating resources and setting priorities.
• Capacity Planning and Strategy:
• Plan for future network capacity, ensuring the infrastructure meets the growing needs of the organization.
• Develop and manage the network strategy for the organization.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of network infrastructure, configurations, and operational procedures.
• Prepare regular reports on network performance and incidents.
• Technical Skills:
• Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.) and technologies (VPNs, MPLS, SD-WAN, etc.).
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting methodologies.
• Experience with network security tools and strategies (firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, etc.).
• Knowledge of cloud networking, hybrid environments, and remote access solutions.
• Certifications (preferred):
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
• CompTIA Network+
