Sr Advocate - Real Estate

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage all legal matters related to real estate projects, including land acquisition, registration, and litigation.
• Draft and review agreements, deeds, MOUs, sale deeds, and other legal documents for property transactions.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws such as RERA, Property Laws, Land Laws, and Real Estate Regulations.
• Conduct title searches and due diligence on properties to ensure ownership clarity.
• Oversee revenue generation from various sources (including rent) by ensuring timely collection of payments.
• Knowledge of RERA / Maharashtra Property Laws, Rule & Regulations.
• Draft, review, and negotiate agreements, including term sheets, MoUs, sale agreements, RERA documents, sale deed L&L agreements and joint venture agreements.
• Draft, review, and negotiate financing agreements such as loan agreements, mortgage deeds, and security documents.
• Identify potential legal risks in real estate, construction finance, and debt structuring transactions.
• Handle disputes and litigation related to real estate transactions, debt financing, and corporate governance issues.
• Assist the CRM team in addressing and resolving queries related to land titles raised by banks and customers.
• Demonstrate strong leadership abilities to manage and mentor junior team members, ensuring effective performance and development.

Desired Candidate Profile

• 07-15 years of experience in the field of law with expertise in real estate laws.
• LLB degree from a recognized university; LLM preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of drafting agreements, deeds, MOUs, sale deeds etc.
• Proficiency in handling litigations related to real estate disputes.
• Minimum of 18 years Years of Real Estate - legal experience, with at least 8-10 years in a leadership role within the organization.
• Strong understanding of Companies Act, SEBI Regulations, RERA, Debt Recovery Laws, and other relevant laws.
