Job Title: Medical Trainer Anatomy, Physiology, and Medical Training

Reporting to: Head of Global R&D

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Medical Trainer to deliver high-quality training in anatomy, physiology, and medical concepts to our team members. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the medical device industry and be skilled in developing and delivering customized training sessions that enhance the knowledge and practical understanding of medical professionals, engineers, and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and Develop Training Programs:
• Create and tailor training modules on anatomy, physiology, and medical conditions related to our product portfolio.
• Align training with the needs of R&D, clinical, and regulatory teams to enhance medical knowledge application in product development.
2. Deliver Training Sessions:
• Provide engaging in-person and virtual training sessions to internal teams, including R&D engineers, regulatory personnel, and clinical teams.
• Ensure that the training sessions bridge the gap between medical theory and its practical application in product design and development.
3. Medical and Clinical Content Development:
• Develop detailed training materials, including presentations, case studies, and medical guides, that are accessible and relevant to cross-functional teams.
4. Evaluate Training Effectiveness:
• Assess the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and follow-up sessions.
• Continuously improve training materials based on feedback and latest medical knowledge updates.
5. Collaborate with Internal Teams:
• Work closely with product development teams to integrate medical knowledge into the design and development processes.
• Partner with clinical teams to ensure that the training supports regulatory submissions and clinical evaluations.
6. Stay Updated on Medical Trends:
• Continuously update training materials and programs to reflect the latest developments in anatomy, physiology, and related medical fields.
• Attend relevant conferences, seminars, and workshops to stay at the forefront of medical education.
7. Mentorship:
• Act as a mentor and resource for team members seeking deeper understanding of medical concepts relevant to their roles.

Qualifications:

• Educational Background:
• Master’s or PhD in Anatomy, Physiology, Biomedical Science, or related fields.
• Clinical experience or medical degree is a plus.
• Experience:
• At least 5 years of experience in medical training or clinical education, preferably within the medical device industry.
• Experience in developing and delivering training to multidisciplinary teams.
• Skills:
• Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and the medical implications of medical device design.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to create training material suited for a non-clinical audience (R&D, engineering, regulatory teams).
• Ability to simplify complex medical concepts for cross-functional team understanding.
• Certifications:
• Relevant certifications in medical education or training are preferred.

Role Expectations:

• Conduct at least 4 to 5 comprehensive training session per month for internal teams.
• Provide medical input during product development reviews and meetings.
• Regularly update training materials and share with the R&D team.
• Actively mentor team members to enhance their medical knowledge.

Preferred:

• Familiarity with medical devices and their clinical applications.
• Previous experience in a medical device or healthcare setting.
