Control Panel Technician

Role & responsibilities :

• Perform wiring, termination, and testing of electrical control panels as per electrical schematics.
• Handle power wiring, motor wiring, and control wiring for HVAC systems.
• Install and configure VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives) and PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) in HVAC control panels.
• Ensure proper routing and termination of cables while maintaining neat and safe wiring practices.
• Conduct panel testing and troubleshooting before dispatch and during site installation.
• Provide on-site installation, commissioning, and servicing of control panels at client locations.
• Follow safety guidelines and industry standards to ensure a safe working environment.
• Coordinate with the engineering team to resolve technical issues.

Preferred candidate profile :

• Education: ITI / Diploma in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
• Experience:
• Fresher or up to 3 years of experience in control panel wiring, electrical installation, or HVAC systems.
• Technical Skills:
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Knowledge of HVAC panel wiring, VFDs, and PLCs.
• Familiarity with electrical tools, cable routing, and termination.
• Basic troubleshooting and testing skills.
• Other Requirements:
• Must own a two-wheeler for site visits (mandatory).
• Willing to travel for on-site installation and service work.
• Punctual, disciplined, and committed to quality work.
