SAEL - Business Analyst - CEO's Office (1-3 yrs)

Your Role in our Team:

We are looking for a highly skilled and data-driven Business Analyst to join our CEO's Office at SAEL Group. This role will focus on providing strategic insights through comprehensive data analysis and building key reporting tools, dashboards, and metrics for senior leadership, including the CEO and other CXOs. It shall be the responsibility of the candidate to convert data into insights, to reduce the leadership turn-around-time in decision making. The ideal candidate will be adept at data management, reporting, and visualization using tools like Excel and Power BI, with a strong understanding of the renewable energy sector.

Your core responsibilities:

Data Analysis and Reporting:

- Develop and maintain detailed, accurate, and timely reports for various business units, including financial and operational data.

- Use advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and Power BI to build dashboards that deliver actionable insights for the CEO and other senior leaders.

- Continuously analyze data from diverse sources, ensuring data integrity, identifying trends, and making recommendations to improve operational efficiency.

- Provide real-time insights and trends using data analytics to support strategic decision-making.

Business Insights and Strategic Support:

- Analyze large volumes of data across multiple business functions (renewable energy projects, operations, finance) & generate actionable insights to support executive decision-making.

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define and prioritize business requirements, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and objectives.

- Prepare executive summaries, reports, and presentations for senior management, focusing on key business performance metrics.

Dashboard Development for CXOs:

- Build and optimize custom dashboards for the CEO and other CXOs, ensuring real-time visibility into key performance indicators (KPIs), financial metrics, and project statuses.

- Create visually engaging and easy-to-interpret data visualizations that provide clarity on complex data.

- Ensure dashboards are regularly updated with the latest data, helping executives track and evaluate company performance against goals.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

- Work closely with internal teams (Operations, Finance, Project Management) to collect data and ensure that reporting requirements are met.

- Collaborate with project teams to track project milestones and performance, offering data-driven insights to optimize execution.

Preferred qualifications/skills:

- An MBA from a reputed institution in Business/Data Analytics.

- B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronics or associated fields is an added advantage

- Prior experience of 1-2 years in renewable energy or manufacturing sectors is preferable.

- Mandatory proficiency in Excel and Power BI with experience in working with large volumes of data
