Sales Expert - Security, Storage, Networking - (Loc: Muscat, Oman)

Role & responsibilities

1.    Gather the customer requirement and propose solutions related to technologies such as security solutions, networking, storage and server solutions

2.    Carry out sales presentation and collaborate with the vendor team to prepare the solution proposal
3.    Present technical solutions to clients, addressing their specific needs and requirements.
4.    Approach customers and grow the sales of the products in the category
5.    Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in the respective technologies

Preferred candidate profile

 Technical Proficiency    : Expertise in server and storage technologies, including but not limited to:
o    Cyber Security Solutions - Endpoint/Networking/Data Security, DLP, Backup, NAC

o    Server hardware Dell, HP
o    Storage solutions (e.g., SAN, NAS)
o    Virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V)
o    Backup and disaster recovery solutions

2.    Presales Skills        : Proven experience in presales activities, including solution design, proposal creation, and client presentations.

3.    Communication Skills    : Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

4.    Problem-Solving        : Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically to develop innovative solutions.

5.    Team Collaboration        : Ability to work collaboratively with customers and vendors to carry out the required presentations and POCs..

6.    Industry Knowledge        : Understanding of industry trends and market dynamics related to these technologies.
