Executive /Trainee (SCM/ Procurement)

Job description:

• Sending Purchase inquiries to vendors and follow-up to obtain Quotations within the required time frame.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with suppliers to secure the best deals.
• Monitor and manage supplier performance to ensure timely delivery and quality standards.
• Manage the procurement lifecycle from supplier selection through to delivery and integration into production.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and company quality guidelines.
• Maintain a database of approved suppliers and products, and ensure cost efficiency in sourcing.
• Keeps records and track of commercial documentation of vendors on a daily basis.
• To do necessary coordination with the Project dept, store dept, dispatch dept at manufacturing works, and accounts dept.
• Contract Management and execution

Eligibility :

• Having operating knowledge of SAP, Excel, MS Word, etc.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
• Knowledge of materials, suppliers, and procurement processes.
• Ability to talk effectively with vendors and coordinate with them to expedite engineering and commercial documentation and deliveries.
• Ability to understand technical specifications.
