Travel Consultant/ Amadeus GDS Reservation Executive

Roles and Responsibilities

• Provide advice on best travel options available to meet customer needs
• Liaise with potential customer using CRM system and provide travel quotes.
• Handling queries through website and phone
• Research and recommend travel destinations to customers
• Experience in Airline reservations - Amadeus GDS.
• Issue tickets, handle refunds and reissues on Amadeus GDS.
• Check queues and process schedule changes.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, travel suppliers, and partners.
• Taking care of customer queries, feedback and complaints
• Creating proposals, including ticketing quotes and issuance
• Create and update electronic records of clients
• Developing and implementing strategies for increasing customer satisfaction
• Analysing market trends to identify potential business opportunities
• Developing strategies for marketing and promotion.

Desired Candidate Profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in travel and tourism or related field preferred.
• Good geographical knowledge. Australia New Zealand travel knowledge an advantage
• At least 3-5 years of experience as a travel reservations consultant or in a related role.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Good computer skills (Excel, Office etc)
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Knowledge of travel industry regulations, requirements, and trends.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Work as per Australian Eastern Standard Time ( 7:30 am - 4:30 pm - Indian Standard Time)
• Passion for travel and eagerness to help clients create memorable travel experiences.
• Social media knowledge is an advantage.
• Should have good laptop and internet connection for Work From Home. Company laptop may be provided after 3 months of work.
• If you are based in Thane (Maharashtra), you have the option to work from our Thane office or you work from home.
