Analyse existing business processes and identify migration requirements and dependencies.
Design and implement migration strategies and plans to ensure the successful transition from the current BSS platform to the new platform.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and data management, to execute the migration strategy and manage dependencies and risks.
Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate migration progress, challenges, and milestones effectively.
Define and implement data migration and validation processes to ensure data integrity and accuracy during migration.
Monitor and assess migration performance metrics, identifying and addressing any issues or bottlenecks that may arise.
Make decisions related to the prioritisation of migration activities, resource allocation, and issue resolution.
Core Competencies, Knowledge, and Experience:
Proven experience in business process management, optimisation, and data migration, preferably within the telecommunications industry.
Strong understanding of BSS platforms and associated business processes, such as order management, billing, customer care, and provisioning.
Expertise in data migration strategies, including data mapping, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation.
Solid knowledge of business process modelling and improvement methodologies, such as BPMN, Lean, Six Sigma, or similar.
Experience in leading complex migration projects, managing stakeholders, and mitigating risks.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify process bottlenecks and propose effective solutions.
Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritise and manage multiple initiatives concurrently.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
Job Requirements:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in business process management, optimisation, and data migration, preferably within the telecommunications industry.
Certification in process improvement methodologies, such as Lean Six Sigma, is highly desirable.
Proficiency in process modelling tools, data migration tools, and software.
Familiarity with BSS platforms and their underlying technologies, such as CRM, billing systems, and order management systems.
