ABAP Consultant

• As an ABAP Consultant, you will play a crucial role in the development, maintenance, and optimization of SAP (Systems, Applications, and Products) software solutions for our organization
• Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and maintain ABAP programs and interfaces to support business processes and improve system functionality
• You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, SAP functional consultants, and end-users, to ensure SAP solutions align with business needs

Responsibilities

• ABAP Development: Design, develop, and test ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms (RICEF objects) within the SAP system
• Customization: Customize standard SAP applications to meet specific business requirements
• Data Integration: Create and maintain data interfaces between SAP and external systems, including data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL)
• Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve performance issues in ABAP programs and database queries
• Debugging: Troubleshoot and debug ABAP programs and provide solutions to technical issues
• Code Review: Review and optimize existing ABAP code and ensure compliance with coding standards
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of ABAP developments and changes
• Testing: Support and participate in system testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing
