Java Back End Developer

The Team: The C&RS team provides valuable datasets provided by S&P global as well as analytical models and sophisticated workflow solutions to help users quickly and easily measure the credit risk of rated, unrated, public and private companies across the globe in a key strategic platform using emerging tools and technologies. Responsibilities: 
• Work as a hands-on developer to develop highly scalable industry-leading applications
• Work closely with product owners, technology leaders to understand and clarify requirements
• Analyze, isolate issues, and resolve them
• Produce system documents 
• Improve the architecture and quality of the code

What We’re Looking For:
Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's /Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science or equivalent.
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Have strong analytical skills and learning agility
  • Have ability to work in a collaborative work environment
  • 4 to 8 years of experience in application development using Core Java
  • Strong expertise and knowledge in Core Java, Multithreading, Microservices, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Collections and Data Structures

Preferred Qualifications:

• AWS, JavaScript frameworks like React, Cassandra and Spark
• Proficient with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies like Agile, Test- driven development.
