Job Description
What you ll do:
RVR Engineering is currently seeking a Junior Accountant to support an existing team in accounting and booking keeping for Indian and US entities. This role needs good exposure to various tax laws of India to add value in the accounting process. Additional learning on US accounting and tax compliance would be an upside.
Roles and responsibilities,
- Day to Day Accounting and Bookkeeping of Indian and US entity
- Monthly book closure and finalisation of accounts at Entity company level
- General ledger Review
- Accounts receivable & Payable Management
- Audit coordination in India
- Working knowledge on GST will be an added advantage to improve accounting transaction compliance.
- Working knowledge on Direct tax related to TDS, Tax audit and finalisation including transfer pricing
- Other Management reporting on need basis
- Need an experience of QuickBooks online
- Able to manage all financial transactions.
- Ability to work under own initiative
- Resolve account payable and receivable issues or queries.
- Verifying each project payments against Project Budget and Analysis of project budget with detailed breakup of expenses.
- Protecting the accounting data by taking regular backups
- Maintain accounting documents and records, ensuring all files are up to date.
- Payment s follow-up and statutory documents follow-up
Must Have Requirements:
- Qualification B.com / M.Com/ MBA with 5+ years of experience or CA inter with post article ship experience of 3 years.
- Communication skill will be top priority both written and spoken English
- Worked or performed internal audit of manufacturing setup and well aware of various process such as P2P, O2C and knowledge of controls would be an advantage
- Good exposure of statutory audit, Tax audit during articleship or otherwise
- Working knowledge in GST & Monthly Filing Compliance
- Working knowledge in direct tax compliance- Transfer pricing, TDS
- Stability in career - minimum 2 year in each organisation of previous experience is a must
Good to Have:
- Knowledge in inventory management
- Relevant experience is in the manufacturing sector for at least 2+ years.
- Should have excellent Interpersonal skills Most important.
