Research Analyst - "Manager Research Team"

As part of the Manager Research team, this role will involve supporting a broad and diverse team of analysts globally in its drive to identify best in class investment strategies. Firm sometimes acts as a Fund of Funds. This requires us to evaluate multiple fund managers to check who would be the most appropriate fund manager to manage a given some of money in a given scenario.

Role requires both quantitative and qualitative while analysing numbers and churning up qualitative reports off those. Experience with Portfolio risk attribution, Portfolio Construction, Equity Factors etc. is desirable to have.

Responsibilities:

• Undertaking quantitative and qualitative analysis of investment strategies.
• Data analysis: respond to spontaneous requests from stakeholders for specific data insights or reports, present results in a clear and concise manner.
• Preparing supporting content for investment recommendations.
• Creating investment content for internal/external use.
• Liaise with members of the team to determine key priorities and objectives.
• Drive ideas for process improvements.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, economics, mathematics, science, engineering or other finance related field.
• Strong understanding of investment principles and asset classes.
• Ability to understand and use financial theory and tools.
• Strong quantitative skill set with the ability to analyze complex data.
• Excellent problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Work Timing: 1.30 pm to 10.30 pm IST
