Product Manager (4-8 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

- Define and champion a clear product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the talent marketplace platform, aligning with our overall business goals and market opportunities.

- Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends, unmet needs, and opportunities for differentiation.

- Specifically, analyze existing talent marketplaces and identify opportunities to improve upon their offerings.

- Prioritize product features and initiatives based on customer needs, business value, and technical feasibility, focusing on features that will attract both high-quality talent and enterprise clients.

- Lead and manage the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and discovery to launch, iteration, and continuous improvement.

- Work closely with product engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to ensure seamless product delivery and execution.

- Utilize Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) to plan, execute, and track project progress, ensuring flexibility and rapid iteration.

- Conduct thorough requirements gathering and analysis through user interviews, surveys, data analysis, and close collaboration with key stakeholders (both businesses seeking talent and individual consultants/experts).

- Translate business needs into clear and concise user stories and acceptance criteria, ensuring that the engineering team understands the requirements.

- Create and maintain comprehensive product documentation, including user manuals, release notes, FAQs, and training materials.

Work on intelligent features that like :

- Candidate matching to specific project needs and client preferences.

- Streamline the process of creating and fulfilling job requisitions.

- Identify and address skills gaps in the talent pool.

- Provide personalized recommendations to both clients and talent.

- Ensure that product decisions are informed by data and insights, using analytics to track performance and identify areas for improvement.

- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and implement data governance policies and procedures.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, internal teams, executives, and advisors.

- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, providing regular updates on product progress and addressing any concerns.

- Design and implement A/B tests to optimize key platform features and improve user engagement.

Required Skills :

- 5-7 years of experience in product management, with at least 3 years as a Product Owner, ideally with experience in marketplace platforms or talent solutions.

- Proven experience with Agile and Lean methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).

- Strong understanding of data analysis principles, including data mining, statistical analysis, and data visualization.

- Familiarity with technology used to enhance product experience like matching algos etc..

- Experience with data modeling and database design, including relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL) and NoSQL databases.

- Proficiency in SQL and experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).

- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced startup environment.

- Experience working with global teams.

- Staffing or Human Resources domain knowledge

- OR Experience building or working with consulting or freelance marketplaces.

- Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Experience with A/B testing and other experimentation methodologies.
