Accountant

Role & responsibilities

• Monthly Financial Book Closing: Manage the monthly financial book closing process, along

with expense provisioning, ensuring proper accounting of revenue booking through all

Online and quick commerce platforms and costs incurred are properly recorded. This

involves reviewing journal entries, account balance reconciliations, vendor invoices, payment

and report preparation.

• MIS: Working on publishing monthly MIS of the company
• Stakeholder Interaction: Interact at all levels with budget owners and other stakeholders to

produce timely, efficient, and accurate month-end close. Manage all internal management

and financial reporting through to the annual report.

• Tax Preparation Assistance: Assist with the compilation of information for the preparation

of tax returns.

• Statutory Accounting Practices: Analyse the effect of statutory accounting practices and

study regulations and guidance to ensure the correct application of Generally Accepted

• Must have work experience on Tally Software or any other related accounting

experience.

• Banking knowledge.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in finance, at least 2-3 years with E-commerce or D2c

Brands.

• Experience with financial reporting, tax preparation, and statutory accounting practices.
