Job Description
11710 Director of Engineering (2 Positions) Key Responsibilities
Lead, and oversee the engineering team in the development of the enterprise
products.
Drive the technical vision and direction of the company, ensuring alignment with
business goals.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features
and enhancements.
Ensure the highest standards of software quality, performance, and reliability.
Mentor and develop engineering talent, fostering a culture of innovation and
continuous improvement.
Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets effectively.
Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, particularly in AI,
ML, and Data Analytics.
Implement best practices for software development, including Agile methodologies and
SCRUM practices.
Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical guidance.
Required Qualifications
15+ years of experience in product development, with a proven track record in
enterprise environments.
Previous experience as a software developer using Java, Spring Boot or Python,
Microservices, and RDBMS.
Hands-on experience in software engineering and familiarity with the full software
development lifecycle.
Extensive experience in managing teams of 30+ engineers for at least 8 years.
Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, specifically AWS and Azure.
Familiarity with AI, ML, and Data Analytics technologies is highly desirable.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Experience with Agile/SCRUM methodologies is mandatory.
Experience using JIRA is a must.
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
Proven ability to lead through change and drive organizational success.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
