Responsibilities:

Leadership and Team Management:

• Provide strategic direction and technical guidance to the engineering team.

• Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of engineers.

• Foster a collaborative and innovative culture that encourages continuous learning and professional growth.

• Set clear goals, define responsibilities, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.

• Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and support the career development of team members.

Stakeholder Management:

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and operations, to align engineering efforts with business objectives.

• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand their requirements, provide regular updates, and manage expectations.

• Act as a liaison between engineering and other departments, promoting effective communication and collaboration.

Technical Direction and Innovation:

• Drive the technical vision and strategy for our gaming platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.

• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to guide decision-making and foster innovation.

• Evaluate and implement new technologies, tools, and methodologies to improve engineering efficiency and product quality.

• Champion a culture of continuous improvement and encourage the exploration of new ideas.

• Team Up-Skilling and Productivity Improvement:

• Identify skill gaps within the engineering team and develop comprehensive training and up-skilling programs to enhance technical capabilities.

• Foster a culture of knowledge sharing and mentorship, encouraging the growth and development of individual team members.

• Implement effective processes and tools to streamline workflows and optimize team productivity.

• Proactively identify and address bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.

Requirements:

• Bachelors or masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

• Demonstrated experience in leading and managing high-performing engineering teams.

• Solid understanding of software development life cycle, agile methodologies, and modern engineering practices.

• Expertise in up-skilling and mentoring team members to drive individual and team growth.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Passion for gaming and a deep understanding of the gaming industry.
