DevOps Cloud Engineer - Senior Consultant

The CATT DevOps Cloud Engineer creates cloud infrastructure based on standards and environment lifecycle principles, so that development teams can design, development, deploy and perform ongoing maintenance activities for our custom-developed software that is used by internal RSM partners and staff as we'll as external clients to drive long-term scalability and sustainability of the business for a competitive advantage. To execute their area of responsibility, this role collaborates with staff, product teams, IT, other functional areas within the broader RSM firm, and field offices to ensure we achieve the vision cohesively and effectively. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success leading high-performance teams, strong data analytics capabilities, a continuous improvement mindset, and a deep passion for the digital transformational journey.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Incorporates site reliability engineering (SRE) principles to deliver reliable and scalable cloud infrastructure.
• Partners with development teams to build and maintain cloud infrastructure.
• Guides Junior DevOps engineers on assignments, standards, and procedures.
• Designs and builds cloud CI/CD pipelines for automated and efficient code deployments across the enterprise lifecycle.
• Collaborates with product teams and IT teams to build automated solutions.
• Leads disaster recovery solutions and testing.
• Ensures documentation is current and accurate to support audits and compliance.
• Provide leadership to development teams on DevOps practices, manages DevOps deliverables needed by product teams.
• Provides production support of cloud-based services and solutions.
• Participates in Agile ceremonies.
• Serves as Career Advisor for junior engineers.

• EDUCATION / CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelors Degree (preference given to Business or Technology or Accounting major).
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate and Azure Developer Associate.

• JOB REQUIREMENTS

• 4-6 years experience with cloud infrastructure (required).
• Minimum 2 years experience building/managing cloud CI/CD pipelines and scripting automated solutions (required).
• Results driven; high integrity; ability to build relationships; communications skills; understands complex decisions and proactively seeks input from Senior DevOps Cloud Engineer (required).
• Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (required); Secure Software Development Life Cycle (preferred).
• Understanding of Agile development methodologies (required).
• Self-disciplined to work in a virtual, agile, globally sourced team (required).
• Prior public accounting experience with mid to large size firm(s) or other professional services experience (preferred).
