- Join our Talent Analytics team within the Talent Technology Center of Excellence. Here, you will be instrumental in development, automation, and compilation of data.
- As a Data Analyst, you will not only handle technical analysis and data modeling but also shape the future of our analytics capabilities by contributing to the complete overhaul of our HR Data store.
What You Will Do:
- Leveraging HR systems and database tools, to clean and prepare historical data for a system agnostic data store.
- Assisting with the design and implementation of efficient data models to support various applications and analytics.
- Strategic Project Management: Designing, estimating, and personally executing an analysis plan based on requirements you gather from key stakeholders. In this role you will have the opportunity to contribute to rebuilding a data store from the ground up which will facilitate analysis to achieve business outcomes.
- Collaborate to build and optimize ETL pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into our data warehouse.
- Work with the team in developing business and enterprise architecture strategy, providing insights, recommendations, and best practices to align technology solutions with business goals and objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Using HR systems and database tools to develop and deliver ad hoc, recurring, and on-demand / self-service analysis and data solutions.
- Independently or with a team, exploring and implementing new ways to take on data or technical challenges.
- Designing, estimating, and personally executing an analysis plan based on a high-level functional issue
description or business question.
- Describing your own analysis and the insights you draw from it to others in HR or the business.
Develop, analyze, and evaluate data to create and maintain business intelligence frameworks
- Recommending business process or system improvements to reporting capabilities and influence
system owners to incorporate changes.
- Peer reviewing SQL code/reporting and performing data validation as related to data acquisition for
analytic purposes.
- Ensuring products are delivered that are audience appropriate, adhering to HR standards for data
sharing and meeting the clients need accurately.
Education:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Management Information Systems, Data Science,
Statistics, Engineering or similar from an accredited college/university (Required)
Technical/Soft Skills:
Required:
- Minimum of 3 years using data transformation tools such as Alteryx
- Minimum of 3 years in using SQL to query large datasets.
- Minimum of 3 years of solutioning/maintaining ETL pipelines
Preferred:
- Experience using RStudio or Python for automation or data processing such as statistical modeling, machine learning, or data mining.
- Strong problem-solving ability which will be leveraged to identify data issues, possible solutions, and implementing logic to apply these corrections in the transformation process.
- Experience with the Microsoft Power Platform technologies, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Azure Functions, and other relevant technologies.
- The ability to establish and enforce governance processes, coding standards, and best practices is expected.
- Experience working with Data Modeling tools like Toad Data Modeler, Erwin, ERBuilder or similar tools.
- Excellent communication, relationship skills and a strong team player.
- An understanding of core Human Resources functions, typical workforce management processes and related data preferred.
- Experience in HR related systems: Workday, Cornerstone, Qualtrics, VNDLY, ServiceNow.
- Experience defining, structuring, and documenting data transformation processes.
