Job Description

Within our Global Employer Services practice, you will be responsible for the following job duties that are focused around two core concepts: your technical & quality expertise and delivering excellent client service.

Responsibilities:

Preparing International individual income tax returns, tax equalizations, etc
Prepare global compensation reconciliations, cost projections, tax notice responses, etc
Completing tax planning and research regarding specific tax issues
Understanding tax regulations and accounting pronouncements
Remain up-to-date on current tax practices and changes in tax law
Other duties as assigned
Some travel may be required (varies based on location, line of business & client need)

Basic Qualifications:

BA/BS Degree - preferably in Accounting or related field of study
1+ year of experience in an accounting firm
Must be eligible to sit for the CPA exam - or a licensed JD
Ability to work closely with clients to answer questions or to collect necessary information for tax service requirements
Experience preparing individual income tax returns
Effective verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Masters of Accounting
CPA or EA, or active lawyer license
Experience with expatriate or individual tax
Experience with a national or large regional accounting firm
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Working knowledge of tax code and technical aspects of tax preparation and compliance
Experience in dealing with international tax matters
