Job Description
The Project Management Associate is accountable for the schedule and quality of going complex projects which may have many related projects managed within. The incumbent will apply broad project management principles and concepts to large projects, and contribute to innovation of new concepts and ideas, and continuous process improvement. Program duties may not always fall within a defined subproject. The individual must be able to identify activities as either in or out of scope as they relate to the program objectives.
Essential Duties
Manage multiple projects and stakeholder relationship to assure business needs are met, projects are delivered on time, and potential projects are managed, including:
- TQRM tools and processes (including file reviews, tax authorizations, CLEAR, Contract Express, etc.)
- Support NORM to address the application of the tax practice file review, including:
- Collecting file review data, analyzing and reporting data for tax leadership
- Oversee file review process and train personnel
- Work with CATT, assist with functional monitoring
- Assist in developing and maintaining software tools used in TQRM matters.
- Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in business related area or equivalent experience (required)
- Project Management certification (preferred)
TECHNICAL/SOFT SKILLS
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
Advanced Microsoft Office skills
Strong communication skills both written and verbal
Experience with Sharepoint and/or other Collaboration tools
Effective organization and time management skills
Ability to develop and maintain applicable professional and internal contacts, resources and networks
Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion with respect to internal information
Exhibit high attention to detail and strong proofreading skills
EXPERIENCE
- 2-5 years relevant experience
- Experience managing multiple projects of moderate to high risk
LEADERSHIP SKILLS
Strong analytical, organizational, and planning skills for multiple and or complex projects
Collaborates with all levels to achieve results
Able to adapt quickly to changes in regulatory environment, industry and the firm
Ability to respond positively to changing circumstances, seek and implement change to drive business improvement
Ability to supervise, direct, and review the results of programs, projects or assignments
Ability to impact and influence a diverse population
Ability to work independently and oversee a team
Proactive in requesting feedback
