Technical Assistant To Director

Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Technical Assistant to the Managing Director in our steel manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will act as a strategic partner, providing technical, administrative, and organizational support to ensure smooth operations and informed decision-making at the executive level.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Managing Director in technical decision-making by conducting research, preparing reports, and analyzing data related to steel manufacturing processes and industry trends.
• Coordinate and manage technical projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
• Draft, review, and manage technical documents, presentations, and proposals.
• Act as a liaison between the Managing Director and other departments, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
• Monitor and follow up on action items, project milestones, and deadlines set by the Managing Director.
• Organize and participate in meetings, preparing agendas, recording minutes, and ensuring follow-through on assigned tasks.
• Support the Managing Director in evaluating operational efficiencies and recommending improvements.
• Stay updated on advancements in steel manufacturing technologies and practices to provide relevant insights.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical, or Industrial Engineering (or a related field).
• 2+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the steel manufacturing industry.
• Strong technical acumen with an understanding of steel production processes.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite and project management tools.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
