Rosemallow Technologies - IT Manager - Azure Cloud Infrastructure (12-15 yrs)

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented Manager - Azure Cloud Infrastructure to join our team.

In this critical leadership role, you will be responsible for leading and managing the design, implementation, and operation of cloud-based solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform.

You will play a key role in driving cloud adoption initiatives, ensuring optimal performance, security, and cost-effectiveness for our cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities :

Cloud Infrastructure Leadership :

- Lead and mentor a team of cloud engineers and technicians.

- Define and implement cloud strategies and roadmaps aligned with business objectives.

- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of Azure-based infrastructure.

- Ensure the availability, scalability, and security of cloud-based applications and services.

Project Management & Delivery :

- Lead and manage cloud infrastructure projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development, operations, security) to ensure successful project outcomes.

- Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets.

Cloud Architecture & Engineering :

- Design and implement secure and scalable cloud architectures leveraging Azure services (e.g, Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, Storage, Databases, Security Center).

- Ensure compliance with relevant security and compliance standards (e.g, ISO 27001, SOC 2).

- Implement and manage Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions using tools like Terraform.

- Optimize cloud resource utilization and minimize costs.

DevOps & Automation :

- Promote and implement DevOps principles and practices within the cloud environment.

- Integrate cloud infrastructure with CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks (e.g, Azure DevOps).

- Automate cloud operations to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.

Monitoring & Troubleshooting :

- Implement and manage cloud monitoring and logging solutions (e.g, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics).

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to cloud infrastructure and applications.

Qualifications :

- Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience :

- 12+ years of overall IT experience.

- 4+ years of experience in a leadership or project management role for Azure-based projects.

Technical Skills :

- Strong understanding of Azure architecture, networking, security, and virtualization concepts.

- Expertise in designing, implementing, and managing Azure cloud solutions.

- Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools (e.g, Terraform).

- Experience with DevOps principles and tools (e.g, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines).

- Familiarity with ITIL/ITSM frameworks.

Certifications :

- Microsoft Certified : Azure Solutions Architect Expert or equivalent.

- Microsoft Certified : Azure Fundamentals (preferred).
